The 16th annual Off To A Great Start (OTAGS) Conference presents Measuring What Matters: A Whole Child Approach to Success.

2018 Conference Theme

Guided by the question “What helps us measure and determine the success of an after-school program?” the two-day conference will provide out-of-school time (OST) and after-school professionals the opportunity to consider, share and develop skills that can influence the success of programs. Attendees will receive tools, tangible ideas and resources on cultivating resiliency, personal and character development, character, fostering positive relationships and more.

When: August 8-9, 2018 | 8:00am – 4:00pm

Where: The Point at Otterbein University, 60 Collegeview Road, Westerville OH 43081

 

Cost

Conference cost is $85 for one day and $140 for two days. Scholarships are available for Franklin County providers. Please email Andrea Summers for more information. (Walk-ins welcome with credit card payment.)

Who should attend?

The conference is for all after-school staff and out-of-school time providers including administrators, site directors, teachers, volunteers, community program partners and social service agencies.

Attendees can earn Ohio Approval with OCCRRA Pin as well as ODJFS and ODE Contact Hours.

About After School Counts

After School Counts is a network of school, faith and community-based after school program staff, administrators and volunteers. Our primary focus is to deliver professional development opportunities to after-school providers within Central Ohio. After School Counts hosts the annual Off to a Great Start conference and is a program of the ESC of Central Ohio.
