ESC-COG Substitute Consortium

Welcome to the Educational Services Center Council of Governments (ESC-COG) substitute website. This site provides information and details regarding how to become employed as a substitute with the ESC-COG.

The application process is changing. Beginning May 1, 2014, all applicants will be using the ESC AppliTrack system to submit their application and employment forms. Until then, Substitute applicants should click the Substitute Documents button below to obtain paper-based forms that are  required for Orientation Sessions.

We have completed our substitute orientations for the current school year. Orientations for 2014-15 will begin again in July.

 

New Substitutes

Beginning May 1, 2014, you will be able to click the button above to apply to become a new substitute for the ESC-COG substitute consortium for the 2014-15 school year.

Active Substitutes

As a current ESC-COG substitute,  please click the button above after May 1, 2014  to reactivate your account for the 2014-15 school year.**

**Subsitutes must have scheduled at least five assignments (may be full or partial days) during the current school year. If you have not reactivated your file by April 1 of the current school year , we will consider your file inactive. If you are considered inactive, you will need to click the New Substitute button above and provide the required information.

* If you are a retired educator with a current teaching license, you may request a waiver to be considered exempt from attending the orientation session. In addition, as of Oct. 28, 2013, those applying for classified positions will be able to waive the orientation. Please do not apply for a waiver if you do not meet those requirements.
