ESC-COG Substitute Consortium

Welcome to the Educational Services Center Council of Governments (ESC-COG) substitute website. This site provides information and details regarding how to become employed as a substitute with the ESC-COG.

The application process is changing. Beginning April 21,  2014, all applicants will be using the ESC AppliTrack system to submit their application and employment forms. Until then, Substitute applicants should click the Substitute Documents button below to obtain paper-based forms that are  required for Orientation Sessions.

To apply for a substitute position for the 2013-14 school year, please click the button above to access and print the required documents.

*Valid until April 21, 2014.

New Substitutes

To apply to become a substitute for the ESC-COG substitute consortium for the 2014-15 school year, please click the button above.

Active Substitutes

To renew your  information for 2014-2015, please click the button above.**

For Internet Explorer users, you will need to select "Active Substitute" from the "In Category" Drop-down and click "Search."

**Subsitutes must have scheduled at least five assignments (may be full or partial days) during the current school year. If you have not reactivated your file for the current school year by April 1, we will consider your file inactive. If you are considered inactive, you will need to click the New Substitute button above and provide the required information.

All employees of the consortium are required to attend an orientation session.*

* If you are a retired educator with a current teaching license, you may request a waiver to be considered exempt from attending the orientation session. In addition, as of Oct. 28, 2013, those applying for classified positions will be able to waive the orientation. Please do not apply for a waiver if you do not meet those requirements.
