The Governing Board of Educational Service Center of Central Ohio seeks applicants to fill the unexpired term of board member Ed Bischoff, who resigned effective June 14, 2021.
The board must name a replacement within 30 days of the effective date of the resignation. The newly appointed member will serve until December 31, 2021. If the appointed member desires to continue serving, he or she must file petitions to be on the ballot for the November 2, 2021 general election.

Board of Educational Service Center of Central Ohio should submit
an application (resume) to the Governing Board CFO/Treasurer David Varda at
[email protected] or 2080 Citygate Drive, Columbus Ohio 43219. Applications should be submitted by the 4:30 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
According to Ohio law and merger resolution of the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, people serving on the governing board must be at least 18 years old and anyone representing the Delaware/Union sub-district must reside in one of the following Delaware or Union County Local School Districts:
- Big Walnut Local (Delaware)
- Buckeye Valley Local (Delaware)
- Fairbanks Local (Union)
- Olentangy Local (Delaware)
Board President Beth Glitt said the board will review all applications and appoint his replacement at its June 25, 2021 meeting.
