PBL in the Inclusive Classroom

February 19 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

$179 – $199

Designed for both K-12 general education and special education teachers, “Inclusive PBL Basics” will address the most commonly pressing “Need to Knows” that teachers have in making high quality projects work for students with disabilities in their classrooms. Kristen Uliasz, a BIE National Faculty who has worked as a special education teacher at a wall-to-wall PBL school for the last 9 years, will share examples and expertise from the field to help participants deepen their understanding of special education best practices within the context of Project Based Learning. This workshop is designed for general education and special education teachers grades K-12, with some training and/or experience with PBL, who are looking to expand their ability to design and implement effective projects that appropriately engage and challenge students with a full range of abilities and needs. Participants will walk away with practical planning tools, support strategies, and project resources to ensure all students can meaningfully access their next project. Choose either February 19, 2018 at Madison-Champaign ESC location OR February 20, 2018 at the ESC of Central Ohio. The time is from 8-3 pm.
