This online course meets the HQT requirements for 45 contact hours in teaching skills pedagogy.
The course is designed to be both theoretical and practical, allowing the participant to design lessons and modify instructional practices to meet the diverse needs of learners in any content area.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to know and describe four major models of teaching; describe and apply appropriate research-based instructional practices; and develop comprehensive lesson or unit plans for teaching in their content area.
The course is set-up in 6 weekly modules and requires 6-8 hours of work each week. Course registration is $126. Course will run 5/4/20-6/14/20. A certificate of completion for 45 content hours in pedagogy will be available within a week after course completion. An additional 3-hour Ashland University credit option is available for an additional $747.
