In school and community settings, programs, curricula and services are often labeled "prevention,” though they may not meet the goal of preventing substance use and mental disorders. In this FREE online training, participants will learn to: 1) Define the six strategies utilized to meet prevention goals, 2) Distinguish between prevention populations based on risk, and 3) Increase capacity to critically vet prevention services offered to school districts and within communities. A partnership between the Central Region Prevention Education PD Consortium, Mental Health Recovery Board of Clark, Greene & Madison Counties, and the Ohio Department of Education.
