The ESC is pleased to announce an in-person professional development opportunity for teachers and GIS's on June 5 & 6, 2023.
Day one presenter will be Todd Stanley, national gifted education presenter and Gifted Coordinator for Pickerington Local School District. Todd will share his knowledge and experience with participants on the first day focusing on the benefits of using a talent development model to increase identification and participation in gifted and talented programs. Participants have the option to select either one day or two-day gifted education professional development.
Day 1: June 5 - Talent Development Model; Day 2: June 6 - Primary Education Thinking Skills - Implementation in your classroom and school. $10 fee per day.
Registration fee includes a box lunch.
NOTE: Ashland University 1 hour graduate credit may be earned by participating in BOTH days and submitting required paperwork, payment to AU of $240, and completing a personal reflection paper by June 22. Further details on the AU graduate credit will be shared on June 5 before the professional development day one session begins.
