This program is designed to introduce prospective leaders to the essential responsibilities, skills, challenges and rewards associated with school administration from a practitioners' perspective. Program attendees will: 1) Explore typical duties and responsibilities of a building administrator to help candidates make an informed decision relative to completing a principal preparation program. 2) Enhance leadership skills and recognize personal strengths and weaknesses. 3) Use Ohio Standards for Principals as program foundation. 4) Interact with practicing building and district administrators.
Participants will be given a copy of Cracking the Leadership Code: Three Secrets to Building Strong Leaders by Alain Hunkins. No cost to participants of member districts for this event.
