The Governing Board of the ESC of Central Ohio is seeking applicants to fill the unexpired term of Board Member and President Greg Spencer, who resigned effective December 31, 2020.
The Board must name a replacement within 30 days of the effective date of the resignation. The newly appointed member will serve until December 31, 2021. If the appointed member desires to continue serving, they must file petitions to be on the ballot for the the November 2, 2021 general election.
Those interested in serving on the Governing
Board of the ESC of Central Ohio should submit
an application (resume) to the Governing Board CFO/Treasurer David Varda at
[email protected] or 2080 Citygate Drive, Columbus Ohio 43219. Applications should be submitted by 4:30 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020.
According to Ohio law, those serving on the Board must be at least 18-years-old and reside in one of the following Franklin County school districts:
- Canal Winchester Local Schools
- Groveport Madison Local Schools
- Hamilton Local Schools
- New Albany-Plain Local Schools
Board President Greg Spencer said the Board will review all applications and appoint his replacement at its January 2021 organizational meeting.
