Need contact hours or graduate credit? Need to be able to work on your own time and at your own pace? Our PD in Your Pajamas series is for you! These self-paced courses are provided so that you can learn anytime, anywhere. The second in our series, Beautiful Questions in the Classroom Book Study begins on Monday, September 13, 2021 and ends on October 24, 2021.
In this self-paced, online book study based on Warren Berger and Elise Foster's recent book, Beautiful Questions in the Classroom: Transforming Classrooms Into Cultures of Curiosity and Inquiry, participants will explore the importance of questioning and how inquiry leads to learning, innovation, and personal growth. They will also learn strategies to inspire bigger, more beautiful student questions and techniques to help educators ask more beautiful questions. Throughout the study of the book, they will be provided with real-world examples, case studies, practical ideas, and question stems. Participants will discover how to ask bigger, more beautiful questions and how to develop a powerful teaching approach that creates a classroom full of student-driven inquiry. Cost is $79. Participants will also need to purchase their own copy of Berger & Foster's Beautiful Questions in the Classroom. An optional one hour of graduate credit from Ashland University is available for $249. Questions about course content? Contact Megan Ash by email at [email protected]
