This full day, online workshop equips content and general education teachers with research-based instructional techniques that address the needs of English Language Learners (ELs). Participants will gain a deeper understanding of working effectively with English learners by incorporating several high impact strategies. Participants will learn ways to plan and deliver lessons that allow English learners to access content standards as they develop their English proficiency. Intended audience includes K-12 educators in any content area, EL teachers, administrators, coordinators and coaches. The session is free for ESCCO Title III Consortium members, $100 for districts who are members of the ESCCO and $125 for others. NOTE: Members of the ESCCO Title III EL Consortium should enter "EL_ESC" in the payment box to waive the registration fee. A Zoom link will be sent the morning of the session, 5 contact hours.
