Transportation Services

The ESC has partnered with Everdriven, an innovative transportation provider that works to optimize trip efficiency. This transportation consortium model gives districts and schools access to a pre-negotiated price for third-party transportation services. Districts and schools provide the ESC with the student, and the ESC handles the rest. The ESC schedules the trip, contacts families and schools, and manages the route throughout service. In addition, partnering with the ESC supports route optimization and the ability to share trips with other partnering districts when available.

In many situations, transportation is delayed due to the availability of drivers or vehicles. The ESC’s Rapid Response transportation program works to fill the gap between the time a student needs transportation and when permanent transportation is available. Partnering districts and schools can contact the ESC Transportation Office prior to 12:00pm on a weekday, and the ESC will provide temporary transportation, in an ESC vehicle, the next day. In addition, districts and schools can access the transportation consortium pricing model to schedule a permanent solution for a student’s transportation needs.
