Itinerant-Based Related Services

The ESC of Central Ohio’s itinerant-based related services are designed to assist identified preschoolers with disabilities, ages 3-5, in their home, local preschools and/or daycares. This placement option entitles the preschooler to a minimum of four hours per month of services and may include related services if specified on the child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

A licensed intervention specialist provides educational services. The intervention specialist travels to serve children in their natural settings instead of bringing the children to a center-based early childhood classroom.
