The ESC of Central Ohio’s Specialized On-Site Support (SOS) Team provides customized, job-embedded coaching and/or workshops that fit your district, school, team, or individual needs.
The SOS Team of experts has one common mission: to build your professional capacity to improve outcomes for all learners using a multi-disciplinary approach. The team provides support in a variety of areas, including:
Bryant Tela is the SOS Team Behavior Intervention/ Mental Health Consultant. He has an MSE in Educational Leadership and a MSW in Social Work with a concentration in School Social Work. Bryant is a Master Level CPI instructor with specialization in the areas of autism, verbal/nonverbal communication, and trauma. Bryant has more than 20 years of experience in mental health work in the school setting. Bryant will work with your team in the application of PBIS, Restorative Practices, team development, mental health, and behavior intervention approaches.
Kate Wallace is the SOS Team Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, COBA) for both general and special education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences as well as a master of education in Special Education. Kate uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients, their educators, and their families. Kate supports educators in identifying behavioral factors in their classrooms. She also works with educators to develop support systems in order to promote success of all learners in the classroom.
Dr. Sean Ross is the SOS Team Administrative Coach/ Consultant. Sean earned a Ph.D. in Leadership and Administration and is currently a licensed educator, an adjunct faculty member of Ashland University, and the COO of a consulting firm. Sean works with districts to align leadership and implement a strategic focus to improve the entire school community. Sean’s approach often leads to increases in academics and decreases in “challenging” behaviors.
Neeley Keys LISW-S is the SOS Team Mental Health Specialist for both general and special education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a master’s degree in Social Work, and has spent nearly 20 years in the mental health arena working in schools. Neeley works with educators by sharing her knowledge on trauma, mental health support, Restorative Practices, re-entry protocol, and more. Her coaching can be customized to meet your specific needs across a variety of mental health topics.
David Wagner is the SOS Team Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, COBA) for both general and special education. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as a master of science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). David uses ABA to train families and educators while working in school, clinical, and residential settings. He assists educators in identifying classroom factors that may impact behavior and student skill acquisition. He will partner with you to design student and family support systems, as well as create a positive learning environment to promote and monitor student success and growth.
Maddy Smith is an SOS Team Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, COBA) for both general and special education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology as well as a masters of education in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Maddy supports educators as a behavioral intervention consultant to help provide professional development and embedded support in the school environment. Maddy also works with educators to integrate ABA techniques and develop behavioral intervention systems in order to increase staff capacity to promote success of all learners in the classroom.
Amy Walker has over fifteen years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has provided both center-based and home-based services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities and the adults who support them. She is excited to apply her experience and knowledge to the school-based setting. She resides in Clintonville with her husband and daughters, ages 5 and 8. Outside of work, she enjoys being active outside, spending quality time with her family, and reading. Amy is looking forward to supporting educators in learning about behavioral principles and applying them in their classroom to improve student success! Amy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Cloud State University.
Ron DeMuesy serves on the Specialized On-Site Support Team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA). Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master of Education degree. During his career as a Behavior Analyst, Ron has worked for both private agencies and in public schools. In the school setting, Ron has provided numerous professional development opportunities and has consulted/coached on Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavior interventions. In addition, Ron’s primary roles have included supporting staff in the development and implementation of practical functional assessments and skill-based treatments for severe problem behavior, coaching parents and caregivers on implementation of skill-based treatment, coaching staff and parents on interventions for feeding and sleep problems, provided professional development for district staff, including RBTs.
Rachael Mills is an SOS Instructional Coach with a special education focus. She has a bachelor of science degree in education. This is Rachael’s eleventh year in the education field, 7 of those years in elementary STACK-modeled classrooms as an intervention specialist. Much of her experience is with students with autism spectrum disorder. Rachael is passionate about supporting teachers and classroom staff through coaching, modeling, professional development, and feedback. Her approach focuses on building staff capacity and improving student outcomes through proactive strategies related to classroom structure, routine, and positive reinforcement.
Meghan Inglin is an SOS team Board Certified Behavior Analyst for both general and special education classrooms. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education along with her an elementary teaching license. She received her master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati in Applied Behavior Analysis. Before earning her BCBA certification, she worked as an elementary teacher in both a public and charter school setting. Meghan works as a behavior intervention consultant to support educators in identifying behavioral factors that may impact the classroom. She also works with them to find solutions and unique ways to support their students each day.
Alexa Galloway has been a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst since 2020 and has eight years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She has served in various settings, including homes, clinics, hospitals, and schools. She is passionate about using behavior science to improve the school experience for students and teachers, alike. Alexa lives with her wife, child, and two cats in Westerville, OH. Alexa received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global University.
Lindsey Servé began her career in education as a classroom teacher in 2006. She became a Lead Teacher in 2008, and then served in administrative roles including Federal Programs (Title I) Coordinator, RtI Coordinator, and Data Coach. In 2011, Lindsey joined the intervention portfolio at educational publisher McGraw-Hill; first as an Assistant Editor, then as an Associate Academic Designer, and finally as a Marketing Manager. After eight years in educational publishing, she returned to public education as an Academic Performance Analyst for Columbus City Schools in 2019. Lindsey supported the district as an analyst for three years prior to transitioning to a role as a Data & Instructional Coach for one year. She joined the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio in 2023 as an MTSS & Data Consultant. Her professional passions include data, communication, literacy instruction, MTSS, and intervention for all. She believes that if you can read, you can do anything. Lindsey resides in Dublin, Ohio with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog.
Hilarie Barry is the SOS Team Instructional Coach. She is a licensed Special Education Teacher with an MPS in Humanistic Education. Hilarie uses her 40 years of classroom and supervisory experience to support teachers on a personal level. She specializes in the areas of autism and significant cognitive disabilities, including STACK classrooms. Hilarie helps teachers develop their capacity to provide challenging students with a structured, engaging classroom and high-quality instruction.
We’re excited for the opportunity to work with your school and staff to build capacity. We’re proud to offer your team embedded coaching, one-on-one training, consultation, and customized services focused on mental health, behavior intervention, family/community engagement, English learners, administrative support, and diverse learners.
Our services are not the typical “sit-and-get” professional development opportunities. Team members will assist in determining needs, visit and observe classrooms and teacher and provide recommendations and coaching.
