The ESC of Central Ohio Communications Team was recognized with six awards across multiple categories at the 2025 OHSPRA Awards, highlighting their outstanding work in school communications.
Ellie Asher-Jones (pictured below), Brand and Marketing Specialist, received three Mark of Excellence Awards: one for her work in the category of “E-Newsletter”, and two in the “Marketing Materials” category.
Brenna Schoen (pictured below), Communications and Social Media Specialist, was recognized with two awards: a Mark of Excellence Award in the “Writing” category and a Mark of Distinction Award in the “Social Media Campaign” category.
Matt Goodwin (pictured below), Communications Assistant, earned a Mark of Excellence Award in the “Photography” category for his visual storytelling.
John Hambrick, ESC Work-Based Learning Coordinator, was also recognized with the Friend of Education Award. OHSPRA annually sponsors the Friend of Education Award to recognize the unofficial members of the school public relations team. John’s dedication to spreading the good news of the ESC with #WhereIsESCToday and his iconic group selfies are just a few of the reasons John was awarded this honor from OHSPRA.
The Ohio School Public Relations Association is a nationally recognized organization of education public relations professionals, administrators, and school personnel who work within school communications.
