House Bill 583 required the state Superintendent of Public Instruction to establish a program to provide tutoring and remedial education services to students in participating public and chartered nonpublic schools. That program is
Tutor Ohio Kids. Tutor Ohio Kids is being coordinated by the ESC of Central Ohio in partnership with the
Ohio Department of Education, other regional educational service centers (ESCs), school districts and schools.
