EL Coordinator Support

Our English Learners (EL) support staff will address any requests and needs from partners related to English Learner services. We will work with you in the following areas:

Introduction to English Learners
Setting up an English Learners program
Using the English language proficiency standards
Teaching reading to English Learners
Supporting newcomers
English Learners and special education
Supporting English Learners in the content areas
Supporting students with limited or interrupted formal education
What administrators need to know about English Learners
Cultural competence
