INFOhio provides a variety of resources for preschool students (ages 3-5) as well as students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. A great resource for teachers is Keep Calm and Carry on with INFOhio.
Newsela offers a library of high-interest, cross-curricular, adjustable non-fiction texts. Each of the articles are written at five different Lexile levels.

Video Discussion Tool
Flipgrid is a social learning platform that allows educators to ask a question, then the students respond in a video. Students are then able to respond to one another, creating a “web” of discussion.
Offered by the Smithsonian for use by K-12 students and teachers, TweenTribune provides a collection of news articles at four different Lexile levels.
Screen Recording Tool
Screencastify is a simple screen-recording tool. It can be used to record, edit, and share videos. Screencastify is a browser extension for Google Chrome.
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized dashboard for students to learn at their own pace. Resources are also available for teachers.
PBS LearningMedia is a web-based collection of learning resources that are searchable by subject, grade (Pre-K-12), and learning standard.
TEDEd is a web-based collection of educational video lessons on a variety of subjects. Teachers with accounts can customize existing lessons.
Video Enhancement Tool
Edpuzzle is a web-based interactive video and formative assessment tool that lets users crop existing online videos and add content to target specific learning objectives.
Wakelet is a content curation platform where teachers and students can save links, social media posts, videos, and images as items to later be organized into private or public collections
