Building Closure Supports

How can we support you?

The ESC of Central Ohio is prepared to assist districts and schools in many ways during extended building closures due to the coronavirus. Please select an area or areas below and a staff member will reach out to provide support ASAP.  
 
ESC staff are prepared to support your needs with various digital curriculum tools and teaching supports. Support may be informational, 1:1 trainings, one-to-team trainings, or one-to-many trainings.

Graduation

ESC staff are prepared to support your needs related to seniors, graduation and similar areas of need. Areas of support include (but are not limited to) developing and implementing graduation seals, updates on graduation requirements, technical assistance to support seniors, networking and informational opportunities with the Ohio Department of Education, ACT, The College Board and others, work-based learning technical assistance and more.

Leadership

ESC staff are prepared to support your leadership needs. Areas of support include (but are not limited to) grant application and awards supports including reviewing, writing, and monitoring, online learning usage analysis, visualization development, facilitating utilization for continuous improvement and more.

Online Learning Tools

ESC staff are prepared to support your needs with many digital platforms and tools. Areas of support include (but are not limited to) Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Office 365, Canvas, EMIS, Public School Works, Frontline Education and more.

Social & Emotional Learning

ESC staff are prepared to support your student and staff social and emotional learning and health needs. Areas of support include assistance and support with English learners, mental health, behavioral intervention, trauma care, support for diverse learners, administrative support and more. Special Education

In collaboration with the State Support Team (SST) Region 11, ESC staff are prepared to assist you with IEPs and other supports and needs of students with disabilities. Staff are able to share concerns with the Ohio Department of Education, host/share informational updates, resources and tools, provide virtual technical assistance and more. Teaching & Learning

ESC staff are prepared to support your needs with various digital curriculum tools and teaching supports. Areas of support for virtual enviroments include (but are not limited to) INFOhio, Newsela, JASON Learning, mastery of standards, grading, evidence collection, grade level promotion readiness, selecting standards-aligned resources and more.

The Remote Learning Alliance is a group of educational organizations committed to the collective impact of helping make the transition to remote learning as easy and robust as possible for Ohio school leaders, teachers, and support personnel.
