The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio supports flexible service options to meet the specific needs of districts by providing licensed/certified mental health specialists and school social workers.
Mental health specialists and school social workers collaborate with families, community agencies and both regular and special education teams in districts to identify and serve students with behavioral and emotional needs. These highly qualified and licensed/certified professionals conduct student groups in identified areas such as grief, divorced parents and peer relationships and are available to participate in assessment and serve on intervention assistance teams as requested by the district or school administration to the director of Student Services.
