Open Job Interview Days at the ESC
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students?
Join us on March 26, April 11 or May 7 for open job interviews. We’re hiring intervention specialists and related services professionals across the Central Ohio region.

Educational Partnership for Social, Emotional & Academics (EPSEA)

EPSEA is a partnership between Franklin County Children Services (FCCS) and the ESC of Central Ohio.

Our Mission: Empower students to find success.
Our Vision: To build resilient students in our schools and community.

We can currently serve 390 students through direct and individualized support. Hundreds more have been served through consultation and educational resource linkage at Franklin County Children Services.

In addition to direct student support, EPSEA is also responsible for facilitating conversations between FCCS and school districts addressing educational stability for students coming into care and moving while in care (required by the Every Students Succeeds Act). Our educational coordinators also serve FCCS teams by linking them to district partners and sharing educational resources that will help support the students and families they serve.

Supports in Action

Liaisons meet one-on-one with students to develop goals and work toward academic and personal achievements. Liaisons work closely with caregivers, FCCS teams, school personnel and agency staff to identify and address barriers that may be affecting academic performance.

Who is Eligible

In order to be eligible for EPSEA, students must be in grades K-12 and linked with Franklin County Children Services. Eligible students’ information can be sent to Community Referrals at Franklin County Children Services, via email at [email protected].
